Degree completion programs are intended primarily for adult students with prior college credit. The Levin College accepts academic and technical credits from regionally accredited institutions. Evening and Saturday classes, Web classes, and Credit for Life Experience are some of the means by which the College helps adults complete Bachelor's degrees in a reasonable amount of time.

The Levin College offers program through the University Partnership at Lorain County Community College and Lakeland Community College. The partnership program allows students to enroll at the community college to complete lower-division, General Education requirements. At the same time, students enroll at Cleveland State University and take major field and college requirements. Application Procedure:
Acceptance of Transfer Credit: As you complete classes at Lakeland or Lorain County Community College, an official transcript of your grades will be sent to the Cleveland State Registrar's Office so that these classes can be added to your CSU record. All college-level classes graded C- or better will transfer. College-level classes graded D or better will transfer for those holding an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS). Financial Aid: Cleveland State University will not pay tuition to Lakeland Community College or Lorain County Community College; partnership students will need to make arrangements with those institutions for payment of tuition and fees. |

The Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs conducts an Assessment and Accreditation of Prior Learning Experience (AAPLE) Program which recognizes that learning takes place in settings other than the classroom and is designed to award academic credit for substantial previous learning experiences. In preparation for receiving this credit, students enroll in a two-credit hour course: UST 190* (Analysis of Experiential Learning in Urban Studies). |
