
Pre-Symposium Workshops

Two professional development workshops that focus on the training needs of local nonprofits are offered in the morning (see descriptions below). Following the workshops, participants are invited to a luncheon and panel discussion with local foundations and county funders who will discuss evaluation of outcomes. Workshops will be delivered by Elaine Woloshyn and Dianne Oliver, Center for Nonprofit Excellence.

Outcome Measurement 101:
This workshop addresses the basic components of outcome measurements, such as data collection, analysis, and reporting and use of outcome information.
Who should attend: Practitioners, program managers and supervisors in nonprofit and public organizations (enrollment 25).

Outcome Measurement as a Governance and Management Tool:
This session will address how outcome measurement information can be used by the board and management to improve services and meet organizational mission.
Who should attend: Board members, Executive Directors/CEO's, and senior management staff (enrollment 25).
