Prior to joining the Cleveland-Marshall faculty in the fall of 1991, Dean Ammons served as Executive Assistant to Ohio Governor Celeste and as Special Assistant to the Director of the Department of Administrative Services for the State of Ohio. A member of the faculty of the National Judicial College, Dean Ammons regularly instructs judges new to the bench in areas of her legal specialties, as well as experienced judges who desire additional legal education. She is an expert in Federal and Ohio administrative procedure law -- a critical aspect of elections regulation. Prior to her legal career, Dean Ammons held several positions in the field of journalism and communications.
