Mary Beckenbach is Executive Assistant to Senator George Voinovich, who is a Senior Fellow at the Levin College of Urban Affairs.

Mary is President of the Cleveland Institute of Music Women’s committee having also been a board member for the past 20 years. She is also an ex-Officio member of the Board of Trustees at the Cleveland Institute of Music

For the past 10 years Mary has served as an elected official of the Village of Bratenahl, serving as President of Council during this time, and chair of the Public Safety Committee and the Community Affairs Committee.

Her love of the arts also keeps her involved at the Community of St. Peter, where she is chair of the Arts Committee, bringing local artists and musical events to share with the Community each year.

Mary received her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University and graduated Cum Laude with a Master Degree in Special Education from Kent State University.
