Join us for a discussion focused the adaptive reuse of religious and other sacred buildings. Cleveland and other countless cities around the country and around the world are dealing with treasured buildings of all denominations that are left behind as communities move or outgrow the current setting.
Panelists will present strategies and options that can take us from good intentions to good decisions. This forum will be of interest to developers, real estate professionals, community organizations, elected officials, preservation advocates, planners, architects and others who are concerned about reusing religious buildings.
This program will also feature an exhibition of drawings and photographs of churches from last summer’s ICA&CA church tours. The exhibit will be on display in the Thomas F. Campbell, Ph.D. gallery on the ground floor of the Levin College of Urban Affairs throughout April.
