Mayor Frank JacksonMayor Jackson is passionate about Cleveland and is committed to restoring the city to greatness and making it a 24-hour city where people can work, live and play. The Mayor was born, raised and educated in Cleveland. He attended Cleveland Public Schools, received his associate degree from Cuyahoga Community College, and his bachelor, master and law degrees from Cleveland State University.

After serving with distinction in Viet Nam, he was elected to City Council in 1989 and served for 16 years as Ward 5 representative. He was elected City Council President in 2002 and became the Mayor of Cleveland in 2006.
