Program Description

This program is a product of a unique partnership between Case Western Reserve University’s (CWRU) Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, the CWRU Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations, and Cleveland State University’s (CSU) Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs. CWRU and CSU, in partnership with Cuyahoga County EFS officials, have designed this program to develop the EFS agency’s internal capacity for leadership.

Levin College, Center for Leadership Development

The purpose of the Center is to create learning programs that fulfill the lifelong learning needs of both practicing and aspiring public leaders by developing their personal skills and organizational capacity for leadership. The Center integrates theory, applied research and models in order to advance the public leadership programming of the Levin College of Urban Affairs.

The Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences

The Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences provides and integrates professional social work education, research, and service to promote social justice and empowerment in communities through social work practice locally, nationally, and internationally.

The Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations

To enhance the effectiveness of nonprofit leaders and managers and the organizations they serve through education, research, and community service.
