
Striving toward the development of a world-class region, the Northeast Ohio Research Consortium has established the following goals and objectives:
Objective 1: Identify regional indicators and benchmark the region's progress in comparison to other regions.
Objective 2: Become the regional repository
of data and trends on Northeast Ohio's quality of life, educational
performance, economic performance, leadership, and other issues
as identified by the NEORC.![]()
Objective 1: Conduct research to identify and analyze critical regional issues.
Objective 2: Conduct outreach to inform research and disseminate findings, raise awareness and better understand critical regional issues.
Objective 3: Conduct technical assistance
with local governments, and business and community-led
non-profits to address critical regional issues.![]()
Objective 1: Convene partnerships among local initiatives addressing common issues throughout the Northeast Ohio region.
Objective 2: Coordinate university-based programs in Northeast Ohio addressing local issues.
Objective 3: Work with regional planning organizations
to improve quality and process.![]()
Objective 1: Partner with organizations at the local, regional, state, and national levels to bring additional resources and expertise to bear on issues affecting Northeast Ohio.
Objective 2: Achieve wider recognition of NEORCıs research program and broaden support by pursuing funding from state and national organizations that share the consortiumıs interests.
