Wendy Slone submitted an article to the Oxford Round Table that will be published soon. Wendy also has a text book that was accepted for publication with University Press. The title of the book is: "Discretion and the Administrator: The Case of Child Care Reform in Ohio". The book will be out Spring 2011. Congratulations!
Jeffrey L. Brudney, Ph.D., Albert A. Levin Chair of Urban Studies and Public Service, met with the Transition Team of Edward FitzGerald, Cuyahoga County Government Executive-Elect, to discuss a recommendation to establish an Office of Public Engagement in the new county government. Earlier this year, Dr. Brudney had co-chaired a committee that developed the proposal for the Office of Public Engagement.
On December 15, Nancy Meyer-Emerick and two other CSU Fulbrights, Alan Reichert and Regennia Williams, were interviewed by Mike McIntyre for a WCPN Sound of Ideas show on "Fulbright Scholars in NE Ohio." The show was prerecorded to air on Monday, December 27th at 9:00.
