The NODIS Data Connection is a guide to on-line demographic and economic data for northeast Ohio, especially post-1990 data tables and area profiles. The geographic area covered is the Cleveland-Akron CMSA (Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit Counties in Ohio). The information provided originates from a number of sources, including the Bureau of the Census and the Ohio Department of Development.

The Northern Ohio Data & Information Service (NODIS) has been designated by the State of Ohio and the US Bureau of the Census as the Regional Data Center for northern Ohio. NODIS is a repository for US Census information, which it disseminates to the community on a cost-recovery basis. NODIS provides access to databases, research, technical assistance, data analysis, mapping, programming and training. The NODIS range of services extends from standard reports to customized research and data support tailored to meet specific project needs.
