Before joining the Levin College, Susan Freimark spent 13 years as director of career services for Case Western Reserve University's social work and nonprofit management programs. There she provided technical assistance to nonprofits in the areas of professional development, job development, and organizational issues. Prior to that, she spent three years supervising a school-to-work program for at-risk youth and two years as a career counselor for the general population, with an emphasis on thoses 20-35 years of age.

She has maintained a private practice in career counseling since 1990. She is currently working with nonprofit organizations on professional and job development, organizational issues, and support in management issues.
