About the Authors

James Whitney

James Whitney is president of Whitney Stained Glass Studio, Incorporated, located in Cleveland, Ohio, as well as President of the Stained Glass Association of America. He has restored numerous stained glass windows, including some from 14th century. Mr. Whitney has received craftmanship awards from the Cleveland Builders Exchange for, among other projects, stained glass restoration at the President James A. Garfield Monument and the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, both located in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition, he has received awards from the Stained Glass Association of America. He is a Research Fellow with the Sacred Landmarks Initiative.
