Brian A. Mikelbank is an Associate Professor of Urban Studies in the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University. Dr. Mikelbank is an urban and economic geographer, with varied interests in quantitative spatial analysis and GIS applications. He teaches courses in Housing Analysis, Urban Geography, Quantitative Reasoning, and the College's three graduate courses in Urban Geographic Information Systems.
He received his Ph.D. (2000) and M.A. (1996)
in Geography, from The Ohio State University. His B.A. (1994) is in
Economics-Geography, from the State University of New York at
In his spare time, Brian enjoys (in no
particular order) the outdoors (especially the portion of the outdoors located
near water), the indoors (especially the portion of the indoors located near
the kitchen or television), his wife, their dog, and his life.
