COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Analysis of Experiential Learning in Urban Studies is a two-credit course
designed to assist adult students with identifying college level learning
from prior experience and documenting the learning for assessment by faculty
of Cleveland State's College of Urban Affairs. Group interaction will be
an integral component of the course.

ASSIGNMENT NOTES: All assignments must be typed (and double-spaced is
preferred). Assignments will be graded for organization and content.
Homework assignments are due on dates indicated. Late assignments will
not be accepted unless other arrangements are negotiated with instructor
prior to the due date of the assignment.
TEXTBOOKS: No text is required for the course. Although a suggested text for reference is "Earn College Credit for What You Know" by Lois Lamdin (Council for Adult & Experiential Learning, 1997 Third Edition).
ON-LINE DISCUSSIONS: As a student in the course, you
will be required to participate in regular, on-line communications via an
e-mail alias. It is hoped that this format will provide you with the opportunity
to share your class experience with both other students and the course instructor.
