Position:  Project Star Intern
Company: Cleveland Rape Crisis Center

The Project Star Intern is responsible for providing support to the Project Star Manager through research, directly working with clients, and outreach. 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend and successfully complete Volunteer training
  • Direct outreach to CRCC clients, including referral calls, check-ins, and updates
  • Coordinate and attend meetings in regards to client cases
  • Attend court hearings and support clients through the criminal and civil justice systems with a trauma informed approach
  • Research best practices in regards to programming, interventions, trends, and new legislation around issues of human trafficking
  • Attend outreach events to educate the community about Project Star and CRCC services 
  • Facilitate Human Trafficking Training by end of internship

Qualifications:

Position:  Training Institute Intern
Company: Cleveland Rape Crisis Center

We are seeking a highly motivated intern at Cleveland Rape Crisis Center that is dedicated to supporting survivors of rape and sexual abuse. Under the direction of the Chief Advocacy Officer, this successful individual will assist with the marketing, procurement and logistics for the agency’s Training Institute. This will include, but is not limited to:

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend Internship training, including Ambassador training
  • Research and promote training opportunities locally and nationally
  • Research material for trainings by gathering content (i.e. images, video clips, peer-reviewed articles)
  • Handle logistics and administrative tasks associated with trainings, including CEU materials
  • Submit proposals for trainings and speaking engagements

Position: Service Management Intern
Company: Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA)

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority is seeking an Service Management Intern to assist the Service Management Department.

Duties: Under the supervision of the Service Planning Team Leader, the Service Management Intern will assist with a wide variety of professional service design/delivery planning activities including updates to the Bus Stop Inventory, processing and analysis of Bus Stop and Route data, and various mapping tasks. Fieldwork will be required as a part of these activities.

Minimum Requirements:  Applicants must have completed at least two year's worth of college credits. Interest in public transit and urban planning is desired. Description:
The City of Cleveland Heights City Management Intern works with the City Manager and the executive leadership team to gain an understanding of local government management over a period of 10-12 weeks. Position: Zoning Analyst Intern

Millman National Land Services is the nation’s leading direct provider of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and Zoning Compliance Reports for the commercial real estate market.

The Zoning Analyst Intern will learn about such things as:

  • The specific zoning designation of the site, as established by the current municipal code. 
  • The uses allowed under the zoning designation established by the zoning ordinance and whether the present use of the subject site is legally permitted. 
  • The minimum yard or setback requirements and a review of the survey for compliance.

Position: Community Engagement & Education Intern

CAL is seeking an individual with youth experience to support after-school arts programming at our Studio 105 programming space located at 1470 E. 105th Street. This position will support the program manager and CAL teaching artists during our afterschool program.
