About the Forum
When Hugo Boss workers walked the picket line last year, The Plain Dealer explained to readers how this strike could impact the community if the Cleveland plant closed. This type of in-depth daily coverage, as well as watchdog journalism on crime and corruption, will be affected by The Plain Dealer's plans to significantly reduce its newsroom staff and possibly curtail the newspaper's publication frequency later this year.
Those issues will be explored during a noon brown-bag session. Panel members will talk about checks on government without a daily press and the importance of giving the community a voice. The interactive discussion is sponsored by the Save the Plain Dealer committee.
This is a brown bag program, please bring your own lunch.
