About the Program:
Paula Brooks, Franklin County Commissioner and Ohio member of the bipartisan White House Task Force on Climate Preparedness and Resilience will discuss Climate Preparedness and Resilience at a roundtable forum featuring North East Ohio subject matter leaders.  
Lake Erie is an enormous asset to Ohio, America, and the world's resilience. Commissioner Brooks is honored to be hearing from those leaders who know the region best and can advise the Task Force on their own ideas as to preparedness and resilience to climate impacts.  
Commissioner Brooks is a former special assistant to the Ohio Attorney General and executive in the Administration of Governor Richard Celeste where she managed a $3 billion budget. She served on President Clinton's Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services (DACOWITS) and currently serves as a member on the Ohio Constitutional Modernization Commission (OCMC).
