The combined curriculum leading to the degrees of Juris Doctor and one of three Masters programs is designed to permit the full-time student to complete both degrees over a maximum of four years instead of the five years that would normally be required to complete the two degrees separately. J.D./M.A. degrees are offered in the following fields:
- J.D./Master of Arts in Environmental Studies
- J.D./Master of Public Administration
- J.D./Master of Urban Planning and Development
Ph.D. in Urban Studies and Public Affairs

Through disciplinary integration, doctoral students analyze, design, test, and evaluate strategies for urban policy making and management within the public and private sectors.
