Meet Our Staff

Rob ZiolRobert J. Ziol
Director, Ohio Certified Public Manager Program
Director, Center for Public & Nonprofit Management
A graduate of Ohio State University (BA) and Cleveland State University (MPA) Rob has been affiliated with the Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs for the past 20 years. Rob has had various roles inside the College including: Graduate Assistant, Center Manager and Director of Student Internships & Mentoring. In his current role, he administers an extensive portfolio of programming including: professional development offerings, mentoring, internships, and applied research. Rob loves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify experiential learning opportunities for the College and beyond. In addition to program management, Rob provides project advising, small group facilitation and strategic planning retreats for many public sector organizations across Northeast Ohio. Rob is proud to be the Director of the Certified Public Manager program for the State of Ohio. In addition, he is also a member of the Executive Committee of the National Certified Public Manager Consortium and currently fills the office of the treasurer. 

Alexandra Higl-TimmsAlexandra E. Higl-Timms
Assistant Director, Center for Public & Nonprofit Management
Alexandra Higl-Timms currently oversees student enrichment initiatives (i.e. internships, mentoring, and fellowships), women’s leadership programs, and assists with the operation of the Ohio Certified Public Manager® Program. She also manages the Center’s communications, social media, and marketing efforts. Alexandra graduated from John Carroll University (BA) studying journalism and media writing and from Cleveland State University (MPA) studying public administration and nonprofit management. Alexandra is active at the national level of the Certified Public Manager® Program. She currently sits on the marketing task force, and has previously served as a reaccreditation committee member. Alexandra is also a proud graduate of the Ohio Certified Public Manager® Program.

Nina AntonikNina Antonik
Administrative Coordinator, Center for Public & Nonprofit Management & Center for Emergency Preparedness
Nina is an Administrative Coordinator for the Center of Nonprofit and Public Management and the Center for Emergency Preparedness. She is responsible for program registrations, instructor contracts, third party billings, collecting and depositing payments, tracking grant expenditures, coordinating classes and materials, compiling course evaluations and summaries and other office management duties.  She previously worked in the Office of the Dean of the Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs performing a variety of administrative, fiscal, and planning activities. She also serves as the School’s alternate Human Resources Liaison. Nina begin her career at Cleveland State University 23 years ago as a Course Coordinator in the Division of Continuing Education.  Prior to coming to CSU, Nina worked at BP Oil Company for 18 years as a Procurement Coordinator.

Kat HolloKat Hollo
Program Coordinator, Ohio Certified Public Manager Program
Kat Hollo is a Program Coordinator, the newest addition to our team  - coordinating the Ohio Certified Public Manager Program (Public Management Academy + Leadership Academy). Kat graduated from the Levin College in 2018 studying Nonprofit Management. Kat is also a mom to her beautiful 11-year old daughter and a yoga teacher. She has been teaching yoga for over a decade and has been practicing for 17 years herself. To her, yoga is more than a job, but rather a way of life. Kat hopes to bring all she has learned about leading, inspiring, and connecting others into the OCPM program - in hopes of creating a better Cleveland (and beyond) for us all. Kat loves to spend as much time without a roof over her head as possible, hiking, biking, paddle boarding and exploring all the beauty nature has to offer.
