PUCO Grant Training Request and Information

The Center for Emergency Preparedness annually receives $400,000 from the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) to deliver hazmat classes at no charge to Ohio’s emergency service first responders.

We also serve public and private sector safety personnel and others subject to OSHA and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regulations, as well as business continuity professionals.

The CSU CEP PUCO Training Grant application period for this type of training typically opens the first of September of each year and your request must be made through the attached PDF fillable application form. Awards for training are on a first come first basis. To apply for an award, fill out the PUCO Hazardous Materials Grant Training Request Form and send it to b.becker64@csuohio.edu.
